Construction and skilled trades represent the largest share of the analysed jobs. With 3,921 published jobs, this category accounts for approximately 27.2 percent of all jobs included in the analysis.
Services related to moving and delivery as well as home and garden are also frequently requested. Additional demand can be found in IT, marketing, design, photography, tutoring, care, events, hospitality, sport and health.
The analysis shows that demand extends far beyond traditional skilled trades. Personal experience, professional knowledge and practical skills can all lead to real opportunities on KnowS.
How can you earn more by offering services in Switzerland?
In addition to demand, average hourly rates also vary considerably depending on the type of work. Across the skilled trade bookings analysed, the average hourly rate is approximately CHF 82 per hour.
